awsum
Pure epicness: hard map with awesome graphics.
Thank you
Looks pretty nice (and pretty difficult ).
Nice map, nice video.
yes.Nice map, nice video.
Great video.
I really wanna test the map now!
The video is simple and cool. Talent!
And I like the skin that you have used. It's new & Cool!
Chinatown coming out at Friday 16.03.2012
Can be played on both ProCodex Server
DDRace is grown everyday ^^ overpro skill, overpro maps, very amazing mans!
I really like the trailer, great skills!
Edit: I've tested the map. In my opinion it's way too difficult already at start. To circle around a tile in a solopart again and again (and kill yourself again and again coz there are freeze and no death-tiles at bottom) is not that funny if you do it 50 times or more. Increasing my circle-around-a-tile skill in TW is not on my top priority todo-list. I've tried a few times now... never get it working and paused and looked what others did on different days. Almost nobody get above from start to see how the rest of the map feels. Would be ok if the rest of the map would be free of fail-zones ... but it seems it's full of it. What I miss in DDRace currently are solid mid/high-skill maps. There are lots of "/r" servers (which means they require 0 skill) on one side and on the other sides more and more crazy-super-high-skill maps - which are maybe a joy for a handfull players but might be frustrating for most others. What about good all hardcore2 days? It was not that easy like campotle (which skilltype is even good and necessary to learn) but afterwards I think there was more then 200 players in top5 scorelist. Which means lot had joy with playing it. I'm pretty sure this map would never get that success even gfx looks nice (and video is cool and shows awesome skill).

Hm.. I disagree with you Mo.
Sure, people who aren't playing for a long time, or who never played really a lot, will have problems with this map.
But this map wasn't made for this kind of people ( a bit discrimination, I know ).
DDRace keeps evolving , and every map that used to be hard is now really easy. That's why players nowadays want a new challenge, and we try to bring that challenge. You say many people fail at start, you saw it in spectator. Well, I also went to take a look and I saw many people who could do it. We tried to raise the bar, but in my oppinion , this map isn't "that" hard as you claim. I think for players who we concider "the better ones", this map is really balanced in gameplay and fun to play.
About the fail zones: yes there are fail zones, of course, it would be boring without them. But again, the players now don't fail as often anymore as they used to. I remember hardcore2 as a map where everyone always failed at certain parts people would now do first try... We try to adjust to this fact by giving a constant feeling of danger at certain points in the map. And even then, if you are carefull it shouldn't be that much of a problem.
About your top5 statement: yes, there won't be as much players in top5 as in hardcore2, but we didn't want that aswell. If you don't finish a map, it's still possible you had fun on it.
Hope you understand me a little bit.

Even others...

I never said it is bad at all or could not be played. There was 2 in the top5 I've found and few that passed the start I saw as spectator (and even that they failed already soon afterwards - still before the start-line).
About the fail zones: yes there are fail zones, of course, it would be boring without them.
Failzones are ok. But it's pretty demotivating to fail again 100 times at start (and that's a serious number) if you know you can fail a lot in the "real" map afterwards as well (and circle at start starts again).
I remember hardcore2 as a map
But you never felt that alone. You see what others did and you was able to learn or others was able to help. Here you start alone... and many are doing always the same (fail at earliest pos) if you switch what others are doing then most time it's the same picture.
