I don't know if there is any ingame gui in vanilla teeworlds, but e.g. Sushis Client Pack does support this.

But you could replace the font there with any font you like.

Thew normal font ist DejaVuSans.ttf

Now put your swiched font into the font folder.

Now you must change the name from your swiched font to DejaVuSans.ttf

Teeworlds tries to load the font DejaVuSans.ttf.
If you replaced this font with any you like and you don't see any word, you should check your console output for any relevant information (font loaded / not found).

Redownload Teew.
Than delete the font DejaVuSans.ttf that is one the "Fonts" Folder
Than paste the font that you like in the Fonts Folder and replace the name of the file by DejaVuSans.ttf

I saw. But we can't help you by the video because u havent show the console. Only the Game.
We need the console to help you
BUT
In your video the word "Caricamiento" have a different font that the original.
It means that the font has been accepted by the game, so the problem isn't the font.
That's why I say that you should redownload teew.

EDIT: Can you take a screenshot of the console BEFORE the bug happen and AFTER the console say "starting..."?

You still have a console. Press ALT+TAB to switch to it.

Ok. go to the teew. folder (The TW. that crashes)
Than go to Data>Fonts.
Copy the Font
Go to the TW that you have used to make the video. Data>Fonts. Paste the font that you have copyed from the tw. that crashes and try to run

Sorry but that font does't work sad
I tryed to use it (All the 4 fonts in the .zip file) too and my game crashes too. I Don't know why. Maybi because it is a really big font >_<

Try to use a smaller one
(Or whait that other person can solve you'r problem, but I think that it isn't possible sad )
