Topic: Inkscape question

Hello everybody I have a problem with Inkscape because I can't save the images as PNG so I used an image converter but I guess that doesn't function to me because my tees always appear with some arms, eyes or feet missing etc.
Please someone knows a reliable image converter or knows what can I do
I will apreciate a lot, thanks communitee

Re: Inkscape question

Just two easy and fast tips: 1. Try not to save it but to export it (File > Export Bitmap), yu can choose the directory or the piece of drawing you want to export. 2. Open it with a raster image manipulation program that supports Alpha channel (transparency), such as GIMP. I hope this helps wink

Re: Inkscape question

I have a question. How do you make a shadow or something like that automatically fit a shape, so that the part of it that's not in the shape is cut off? this probably makes no sense, but i see it in some speedart videos.

Re: Inkscape question

Thanks a lot Apmox smile I will try it. Chrisfield 12 and Leefy I think I am not really the best person to tell you how because I am too starting to maniobrate with Inkscape, but I do not doubt that someone can answer your question, I think you could ask Spitfire, he has incredible images and knows how to use Inkscape wink
Good luck and thanks big_smile

Re: Inkscape question

The trick you are searching for is a "mask" or a "clip". Google it please. If you're not successful come back and write me so I can help.

you select the shadow that is over the body, then select the body.
go path-> intersection.

everything of the shadow that isnt on the body will be deleted.
I hope thats what you mean. big_smile
