Topic: Teeworlds Players are "Just" Germans and Russians???

I can't understand why the germans and Russians are the... what... 80% of the Teeworlds Players maiby.
It's really easy to find a russian or german in the game... Mutch more easy that to find anny other players.
Does someone know why...? I Cannot understand it. Say your opinion Please! smile

i cant say for russian players but for germans its maybe because it was in german tv

The game is popular in Germany, that's true, but which game is equally popular in every single country? Besides, it depends a lot on the gametypes you're used to play on, by example, there are lots of german players on instagib, a lot more of russians on DDRace, and vanilla is the gametype where you'll find the majority of the french tees. It's just like that.

Would be appreciated if anyone could make some python tool to get a few statistics from the players country flag at several points of the day. I believe it would be much more relevant than stats from teeworlds.com.

Sea, I believe. They're on an island, so that must be bad for the inet connection quality. We've got few Icelandic people out there as well...

Well your view that the players of teeworlds are 80% European, there are a lot of North Americans. If you're at the right time, you'll find a large number of NA players on teeworlds.

It's not like a year ago, where the USA population of teeworlds was around 20

Yeah come on, do not check it at a time when Russian kids are already at home after school (2.23 pm Moscow time) and American kids are still sleeping (6:23am Washington DC).
