Topic: [MAPPING HELP] How do I make Rain in the Background of a Map?

I've been mapping for quite a long time now, But i can't figure out how to make it rain smoothly in the background. usually if i try to make it rain, it Falls for a little bit then randomly goes back up, Which looks terrible. Please help me, Fellow Teeworlds mappers.

The easiest way to create rain drops is to create a long and thin quad. Then use the envelope animation tool and let it move very quickly from the top of your map to the bottom of your map. Basically that's it. You may want to have a look at the way I did it. Feel free to use it. Simply open your map, append the rain map and sort and move the layers.

For some reason, it won't let me open rain.map. Whenever I try to open it, teeworlds crashes... So Yeah. I'll try that though.

Make sure you're using the standard client, for some random reason, lot of client mods are crashing on opening some maps.

That map doesn't work here properly, i just see yellow everywhere and the scores list. I found a server with ctf_rain and that one worked.

It just contains the rain drops, nothing more.
You have to open it with the editor tongue

I don't use anything but standard client, and when i do, its for testing.

k, i tried map on 0.6.1 and it worked, (i use 6.1 cuz i use menu with same sens as ingame sens) and i made a map with it... but it doesnt go all the way across the map, only the middle. but i kinda like the gameplay... so here it is.
