Topic: Server connection problem

(i'm french so sorry for false) I've just download teeworld 0.6.1 and I can't connect to a server(the screen stay on connection to : number of the server).
Can you help me please ?

It's maybi a firewall problem.
Whats your anti-virus?

it's norton and i though that too but I didn't find how to do exactly...

Hmm... I Have no Expreience whid Norton's Firewall, I think that Norton have a Combination Whif COMODO.

Well... Try to configurate The Windows Firewall.

1) Go to "Control Panel" / panneau de contrôle
2) Click in "See Has: >Big Icons" / "voir pourquoi: Grandes icônes"
3)Look for "Windows Firewall" / "Pare-feu Windows" and click there.
4)Now look for "allow a program to go through windows firewall" /"Autoriser un programme à passer par les fenêtres pare-feu"
5)Click in the Bottum "allow another program" / "permettre à un autre programme"
6)Go to your teeworlds Folder, shoose "Teeworlds(.exe)" and click "Adicionate".

Try to go to a server now.

I have no French... I'm Portuguese and I have Spanish... The French Traslation in Powerd By Google. You have  haven't understand what I expland there ↑, try this:

If you use the Norton firewall setting a rule in the windows firewall won't help. Normally your firewall should show a dialog when a new unknown program is trying to create a connection. Maybe this window is covered by teeworlds. Or have a look at the Norton window. You may add a rule by hand for teeworlds there.

But do you get a server listing from the master server? If yes, teeworlds should be able to open connections. Maybe the server is blocking you. Have you tried different servers?
