I think yours is lacking of the reduced-space-between-two-lines improvement, and the whole is taking too much space and lacking of transparency - keep in mind it's something we'll be able to activate while being in-game to check something. But that's just my opinion.

It is a fast mockup, just to throw in another idea. I'm working with Sushi on a more detailed version.

Re: [CLIENT] Teeworlds Gamer

Really nice, you should center "Scoreboard" though. Will you eventually pull request it?

Re: [CLIENT] Teeworlds Gamer

i changed some little things and made it not so flashy and removed the fucking purple ^^
the "Scoreboard" is not centered because of the score at the right

and i wont pull request it like this because its made with some extra option for ppl who like it... well... more the old way.... i basically rewrote the whole scoreboard big_smile

He already implemented it in his pack, and I would more be looking forward to see that in 0.7. Once the idea came out and has been implemented once, duplicating in hundred of mods is useless. Just push to the oy's repo and clients will update :)

Re: [CLIENT] Teeworlds Gamer

4 versions of the same scoreboard (Ubu's;Landil's;Sushi's and Ninja's)

However: Ninja didn't really get the point of the new scoreboard and Landil's scoreboard is bulky.

Sushi's new design is the best imo.

Ubu designed a first board, then Landil reworked it, Sushi's coded Landil's and Ninja kind of did the same (dunno what's the point).

Didn't update the gamer to 0.6.1 yet, but you can use 0.6.0 version without any compatibility problem.

Maybe you stopped this project, don't be shy to tell the world. Everyone will accept this, if you just tell us.
Take care!

I just got hit by some Kryptonite.

Nah, seriously, I'm healthy and everything, it's just finals' time and I've got a bunch of projects for the official stuff which are much more relevant than this. Used to be some kind of whore where I would put all my ideas and tries, it's getting pretty odd now 0.6 has come implementing half of the old features.

If you want some all-in client mod, I suggest you Sushi's pack, although it's not been coded in the same mind, it's definitely well done and maintained.

Re: [CLIENT] Teeworlds Gamer

maybe could you add shift-control D not putting all the text on the screen so it is usable... or even replacing it with the main tee, or lag ghosts for other tees... another plug also for fixing ddrace entities, but still i stick with gamer

It's a debug mode, it's not supposed to be something you play with. Tons of other debugging stuff which you don't see happen in the background as well, you should definitely not play with all this wasted performance.

I'm not meaning to argue but in real life situation it helps a lot by practical experience especially in high lag, I know high level players that even consistently use it in low lag. PC performance in this case (I haven't found it to lag the processor, for example, as much as simple graphics which i always turn off) seems very much secondary as your real life location is just too helpful to know. However please don't take this as a criticism nor a demand, it is just a clarification on my suggestion.

Quite haven't understood half of that, just that you actually don't want the debug mode but simply the shadow. Just needs to have an option only for the shadow. Gotta open a ticket on github.

It was just my polite way of saying I have the actual experience of trying it with and without whereas I feel your fear of "tons of other debugging stuff" and "wasted performance" is vastly overstated as I don't feel any real drag in performance and it really helps a lot, and was based in theory rather than what I colloquially termed "real life" (i.e. actual game experience).

I am not a programmer nor very familiar with "opening a ticket," can anyone do this?
