[Bug] Hook?!

Thats no bug. Your client only gets playerpositions from the players near you. If you are too far away, the client don't get the other players position. And if the client dont get the position of the other player it can't show the hook anymore, because it "don't know" what the other player is doing.

Instead of saying: Thanks for the explanation Niki49, you keep on saying: "Hey I hate you because you downvote me." But did you EVER think about this. Why your post get downvoted? It is maybe there reason because you always say such stuff. I'm sorry, but you are annoying.

yea i is does metter if you explanation it clear sure Niki49 is tell us why this happens with hook but as TeePhoenix says its can be fix if the tee cant find any playerpo you can just change it hook on your target position

Yes we CAN fix this, but we obviously don't want the server to send information over players not in the sight of the client.

Read it again, and found nothing omg-like.

Origin of the hook is the position of the player.

With the information that the clients would receive you can only guess where the player could be. But there would still be unlimited positions. But if the client gets the end position of the hook and if the client knows how long a hook can be, it can figure out what exact position the player has.
