Topic: vServer: Permission denied

Hey,
first, i'm a Windows user so i dont know anything about Linux...

Now to the problem:
i tried to "install" a teeworlds server on a vServer with the command  ./teeworlds_srv -f autoexec.cfg
but then there's an error: bash: ./teeworlds_srv: Permission denied

I searched on google and found this command: chmod +x
but there is an error too: chmod: changing permissions of `teeworlds_srv': Operation not permitted

Can anybody help me ?

PS: sorry for the bad english wink

Re: vServer: Permission denied

it seems you are not the "owner" of the file on your server. How did you upload it to the server?

Re: vServer: Permission denied

If you got filezilla, just go to that file, rightclick it, open the settings and allow you to start it wink
I only know that way. I did know a command for putty sometimes but i luckely forgot it hmm
