Topic: [HELP] symbols in nick name

Hi, i've seen many players using symbols in names like this .:|ËvĩŁ_ŦēàM|:. (this is my nick name with symbols) => heres the normal one .:|EviL_teaM|:. i've tried to introduce this in settings.cfg but is doesnt save the symbols and ingame my nick has "?"s instead of he symbols , what to do? Thanks a lot.

In windows there is the character map, I'm sure you know it, that's where you get all these symbols.
As teeworlds uses the font DejaVuSans.ttf, that is not installed on a windows computer default, you got to install it (Just doubleclick it, a menu will open smile ). After installing you choose the font in the character map and then copy the desired symbols out of it.

Use a text editor capable of UTF-8, like notepad++

Well, using symbols in your nickname immediately shows that you are < ~18 years old, so if I were you I would not use them anyways.
