Topic: Hold button feature in 0.6

In a 0.5 version there was a feature helping to not holding buttons long time by calling console while holding.
How can i lock the button like that in 0.6?
It was really helpful.

It was considered as a bug and thus removed. You can only find it in some client mods now.

Re: Hold button feature in 0.6

I also don't think that it was implemented as a feature. In the versions before 0.6 it was client side. But I think there was a server side bug in 0.6.0 that keeps you hooking when you open the chat while hooking! wink

That's completely different. The problem when you released the mouse button when being in f1 is that the order "stop hooking" was not sent as controls are frozen in this console mode, so it was entirely the fault of the client.

If you press move left or right the same time you press chat, you are frozen into moving either side.

I think they have to fix that

Nothing really. Just pointing out another bug.

(Is saying fixing a bug really an opinion)

Yea I hate it. I first have to stop and then press "t". (else I fall)
