Topic: [Help] Create a map

Hi people, i'm new in site and tee worlds; I'm brazilian and my english is bad, sorry. sad

So, i want to create a map, but, not a new map, a map like the others ... I want to create a map that most often is called "xyz DDRace" or something.

Can you help me or at least give me tips?

I can not find tutorials in Portuguese, so please help.
How to create a map like the other exists?

Wrong subforum.
If you have questions about the vanilla ("standard") teeworlds, you can ask in the support-section.
But as you need help in creating maps for modifications (ddrace), you might either ask in our "Mods"-section or in the official ddrace forum.

As what you seem to really need help with is how to open and modify an existing map I moved the topic to the support-section.

When you have got the hang of the basics in map making you can start modifying a ddrace map

Sorry for posting in the wrong forum, I'm still new and do not understand much.
I wanted to learn how to create a map like the one existing and one server as well.

I always thought with my server, calling my friends to play ...

I do not know much about creating maps and servers, but what I want is an like an existing map that gives me play with my friends.

Ok i guess you want to host (create) a server ,instead of creating a new map. (1)

Creating a server is a bit tricky, if you don't know that much about servers in general.

But you can use our search function, we got tons of topics about it. (e.g.: [[MISC]How to set up your own working online server on Windows.

Before asking new questions about hosting a server, please try to get it working on your own (+reading topics).
But feel free to ask, if you run into problems smile


However, i think it would be more easy for you to join existing servers with your friends, you can search them via Server Browser easily.

(1) Hosting a server means that you run an already existing map in your own environment to play on it. You can download maps from other servers (or take official ones).
Creating a new map means ... you create a new map using the editor.

Sorry, but we can't provide informations about tools community-members made, as we don't know them.
You might ask in the specific topic.

But: The tool you chose was made for teeworlds v0.5, you need to use a tool that supports teeworlds 0.6.

Maybe this one might work, but i can't promise.
