the config alone can't crash the server. Is another problem but without any more information i dunno

edit: The mod got updated to 0.6.1.... the current race mod version is version 3.2-dev... actually it should be 3.2 but i forgot to change and dont want to compile it all again xD

besides all the stuff which was added to 0.6.1 some more things were added to the mod:

  • Ability to save map info right into the map

  • Ability to save server commands directly into the map

  • Fixed the bug with reserved slots where the server wasnt shown

  • some other things i dont want to mention xD

maps which were created with with the new client (so the 0.6.1 version of the race client) may not work with the old version of the race mod... so be sure to update the mod!

i have one problem when i start the server it gives me an error message

"teeworlds_srv_race.exe does not work anymore"

i use the race02.cfg

I use the Client Pack and not the race client
so why it still wont work when i created a map with the client pack
and wanted to start a server with the race mod 3.2

I've tested it twice: If you connect your client to a server which is running a map, where the renaming tile/group layer in editor is enabled & used [mapped with 0.6.1 original], the client crashes. If you connect with TW-0.6.1 original on these maps the problem vanishes.
Mh. Or am i just too stupid for these things? tongue

Edit: Got the prob O_o If i edit a map with your client and host it it always crashes. WTF O_o

I reuploaded the client. A possible crash was fixed when changing the map

seems u have the wrong glib version?! maybe too old?
try compiling yourself ^^

Saw that too when compiling with a newer glibc version and then running on a server with older glibc. (Compiled with Archlinux, launched with Debian.)

This might sound like a stupid question, but what happened to the tele entities? I'm working on a race map and it'd be easier with teles instead of only kill, but I can't find them. :\

You can add a tele layer in the game group and add teleporters there.

Well, the current entities only have check points and two titles that say "from x" and "to o". I have no idea if those are somehow the teles but there used to be a different setup.
