Topic: Country flags

Hi 2 all. Can somebody say me how to load countryflag from string value? not from int?
I mean without using an index.txt

For example: I need to set all players countryflag "lol.png"

i'm modyfying client for belarusian local servers, there is no need to have countryflags here, because all players are from BY. My idea is to change it to clan logos

You don't need to edit the code for this, if I'm right. You can simply replace all the flags by new clan pictures, but people will not be able to load them, they will need to have it preloaded in their folder.

Yes, i know it, but i need that players can't change it. It depends on klan. F.e. if userclan is "apple" logo should be "apple.png" too

It would a nice idea to implement clan logos next to country flags. However that would require major scoreboard tweaking and those logos wouldn't look good that small. (I guess o.O)

No. Clan logos would need to be downloaded, you'll find the exact same reasons why custom skins aren't downloaded: could be inappropriate (flashy, 18+, etc) and would require additional loading.

You didn't understand.
1. Work out the code of the official client.
2. Clans make their logo.
3. Logos from the clans are implemented. (don't need to be downloaded separately)

P.S. Clan logos being inappropriate? Then they would be rejected (not implemented into official client)

So each clan should send their logo as a request before every release? Knowning the medium lifetime of a clan is 4 months, and that a release happens every 2 years, I wouldn't count on that.
