Topic: Translation release policy

Hello! I think the translators should be announced by mail when a new version is ready for final testing and expected to be released, so we can finish our translations and have them enabled by default in Teeworlds.

Also, for those who can't find the time to update their translations there should be some kind of policy about how many untranslated strings are allowed in a new version. I'm just saying this because v0.6.0 came out with a lot of translations disabled by default because they missed a few strings. I can't speak for anyone but I for one prefer a 95% translated application rather than 100% in a foreign language.

Please share your thoughts on this matter and let's make this work. We sure want to keep the translations available for everyone when new versions get released so we need a heads-up. I actually mentioned this before in one thread but I think a fresh one about this sole thing could help us all focus on this.

Re: Translation release policy

I agree, me and slinack weren't aware of a new version being released until it was a bit too late (we're both not really into the dev-scene), and as a result we didn't have time to perfect the 0.6.0 Portuguese translation. Anyone who is a fluent Portuguese speaker may see some mistakes
