i was just wonering how to become a moderator

Don't ask for it. If the team feels you would be a good addition to the team, they will contact you. Support staff people btw. are not moderators or something like that. It's just a title for people who have been active in the forum for a long time and are trying to help other forum users in many matters.

There was a thread on this where people could vote on being support staff, but it was closed (I see you've posted there anyway).

Like ghost said, you need to contribute and be part of the community. If you post around asking for this status as your first post, you'll most likely not get it.

Help around the community a lot, and then maybe they'll CONSIDER you for this.

To be more specific, you support people a lot, naturally. If you have a normal inclination to want to help and support people, while also being an all around good member, you'll be a top candidate but it's ultimately a moderator's choice to "Support Staff" title you.

And yeah, as far as moderating goes, you never ask.

btw: Moderation is same on every forum. So don't ask how to become one here,find answers on Google or Wikipedia...
