Topic: Low fps in game

Hello teeworlds community,
I am using ubuntu 10.10 and am having low fps, when I first start teeworlds, I have about 30 fps but when I join a server it goes down to about 7 fps, the weird thing is that if I minimize it and mess with something else (eg browse the web, write a text document) and come back to it, the fps is back to 30, I have also created another user account and when I run teeworlds from it, everything fine, I have tried this with both the 0.5.2 and the 0.6.0 client's and they both have low fps.

Any help is appreciated,

Turn off compiz or start teeworlds on other x-server.

thats why he should turn off compiz or use another x-server ^^
