Topic: Mac OS X 1.4.11 - Can't launch 4.0

Hi there,

first of, thanks 4 giving us teewars! Great game!
Now to my problem, I play teewars/or now worlds on a Mac running OS X 1.4.11.
With the new 4.0 Version as far as I gathered from the forum it's normal that there is no .app
But no matter what I do with the files from the Mactel download, the game won't start.
When I doubleclick the teeworlds file, a terminal window opens with nothing in it (as if i would simply launch terminal.app).

Hopefully I'm doing something wrong here and one of you can help me to start enjoying teeworlds ;-)

Can you paste the output of that windows here so I can have a look at it?
Also, are you sure you are launching the teeworlds executable, not the teeworlds_srv?

thanks for helping! I started the "teeworlds" file with doubleclick:

and then this terminal window appears, nothing more happens then:

Hm, looks like your file associations are a bit off. You should have another icon for the apps, and it should autostart in Terminal.app.
I am testing this on a 10.4 myself so I can't really figure out what's different hmm

Ok after I downloaded it with safari instead of firefox it somehow worked, the program now has the terminal symbol and starts! Thanks und great release!

The Unarchiver does not decompress binaries correctly, please use BOMarchiver (Archive Utility in 10.5) and/or Stuffit.
