Topic: Norton deleting 0.6.0

Hi I'm stupid. Lets get that out of the way... and I don't understand how Norton works. heh.

It keeps deleting my 0.6.0 app when I try to run it after download. It keeps saying that Sonar has detected a high risk file. I'm running Windows Vista. I copied and pasted from my Norton history below. I've looked on the web and faq and stuff and haven't read anything about Sonar and Teeworlds. Any help is... helpful. smile

Using Norton... on Windows Vista... Duuude... nothing can save you! xD

Avast!

Windows 7

Or try to add TeeWorlds to Norton's Exception list... /if it even has one.

I found this fairly fast using the almighty Google: How to Stop Norton Internet Security From Quarantine a Trusted File?
If you have a problem/question that really isn't Teeworlds' related, search it on Google or any other well know search engine.

Give others the respect you wish to be respected with. In the mean time, enjoy the website!

You should always use Ecosia, to support the rainforest! (:

Re: Norton deleting 0.6.0

Teeworlds if fully Virus-free:
Client: VirusTotal 0/42 (0.0%)
Server: VirusTotal 0/41 (0.0%)

You should check the Settings of your Norton. Maybe your Norton has something like runtime analysing or it just finds some signature which is in some viruses, too. Add teeworlds to the exception list if there is one. And if nothing helps delete Norton, and get a better antivirus program.
