anybody know of a file reader for cfg files?
I need it to modify my settings on my server

Notepad, preinstalled in almost all computers.

Any kind of text editor - I personally use Notepad++, but it also works with your default text editor of course smile

XD 1 more question... how do I write a new cfg file and save it as such? using notepad of course, but how do i save it as cfg?

Go to "File" -> "Save as". Enter a name, for instance "example.cfg". Then, in the scrollselection just below the name field, change from "Text file" to "All files" and hit "Save".

Yes, I use it as well, it's great!

Or set your folder options to "show file format for known files", make a new text document, open with notepad or whatever, save it as it is, close notepad and rename the file format from .txt to .cfg, put it in the needed folder afterwords and restart the program that needs it for changes to take effect smile (if it's a TeeWorlds Client, make sure you close it BEFORE you make the file!)
