I downloaded TeeWorlds earlier and unpacked it and everything. I Start up the program and it starts fine and all but the screen resolution is extremely large a fuzzy to the point that you can't read anything. Any way I can adjust the screen reselution? Thanks.
Go to your teeworlds directory and open config_directory.bat, then open settings.cfg with any editor and look for:
- gfx_screen_width
- gfx_screen_height
and set your custom resolution.
I went to the specified file, but didn't see the the settings file. The only files in there are the demos, downloaded maps, maps, screen shot, and a masters.cfg file that I can't seem to open.
Hmm... maybe try redownloading teeworlds and unpack it again. This helped often.
Or if I am not wrong, teeworlds should create, after starting it up, (when settings.ctf is missing) the file again. So check it after you started teeworlds. (I'm not an expert in such things so I may be wrong)
I reinstalled it and started it up again. Same thing with no file. Maybe tee worlds doesn't like windows 7.
teeworlds creates the settings.cfg file when u change a setting.
You can create this file by your own and add the 2 lines tee killa mentioned.
Alright, the file is there now. I changed it to a .txt and pasted the two lines in there. Now how do I set the resolution.
800- gfx_screen_width
600- gfx_sceen_height

cause it didn't seem to do anything. I am probably doing something wrong here...
The number has to be after the text:
gfx_screen_width 800
gfx_screen_height 600And the file must be a *.cfg file, *.txt doesn't work. Just rename it to *.cfg and it should work... (I hope

Darn. That Wasn't my problem. It is still blurry no matter how small or large I make it.
I'd start up teeworlds and go to Settings>>Graphics>>Display Mode and chose the correct resolution then restart teeworlds. Mine's at 1280x768 but I have not idea if that's what the problem is. Oh and if you can't read the text to chose that, open up teeworlds and click the left tab out of the two tabs in the top-let corner. You'll see new tabs to the right side of the screen. Click the 2nd to the last of them and in the middle of the screen is the Display Mode area. I guess just randomly select one of the top ones since you can't read them anyway and restart teeworlds until you get the right one. If it's not working then that's obviously not the problem....

If you have a large monitor or Full HD screen, 800*600 is not enough. (this is the default resolution when you first start teeworlds afaik). Try a much bigger resolution with the method Tee Killa told you.

I do not know much about win7 , but is there any compatibility mode for executing an exe file like in vista ? rightclick on the client(teeworlds).exe properties... ( i do know much cuz i just have win xp 
)
Did u try to redownload teeworlds? (The latest dev version maybe)
What happens when u join a server? The graphic looks quite ok, just the font is blurry...
Maybe it helps to run teeworlds in fullscreen mode. Just add to your settings
gfx_fullscreen 1I went to full screen and still fuzzy. Tried the countability mode too, still nada. Here is what it looks like when I join the game. (link at bottom) I can still run around jump and shoot and such, but it takes away from the fun with the graphics it has right now. I will try downloading the version that Slayer suggested

And to make matters worse my darn Y key is broken, so now i have to give it a good whack for it to work..
If reinstalling teeworlds doesnt work, you may try to reinstall (or install a new version) your graphic driver.
I installed the Latest development version. The text now shows up great! But the in-game is still fuzzy like usual. Darn.
