Topic: server error active players

hi, i have made a server, i followed all the instructions on this site, it works, it goes to the map and everything, i put all the coding correct the gametype is the map, DM, but when i start it, im in spectating mode, wait, i hit join game and it says only -2 active players allowed, i thought what and looked at what i didi wrong with the coding, i didnot do anything wrong, so, what do i do to fix this?

sv_max_clients 16
sv_spectator_slots 10 (thats what i'm assuming your already doing)

we could help you, if you would post your config too.

i guess u simply put more spectator slots than max clients.

Had the same problem..... realised 'clients - spectators = active players'  so as suggested increase the difference between the 2.
Perhaps alter the sample config on the website .
By the way on linux only autoexec.cfg in the ~/.teeworlds  works...setting the config file server on the command line is ignored.

Great game....loads of fun
