Topic: Particle Problem.

I'm new here, so there is probably a very simple solution to this problem, and I'm just being plain stupid. Anyway, I've edited the particles, and placed them in the data folder and took out the old one. I run the game, and the particles show up as that rainbow texture thingy. Is there any way to solve this? If so, please help me. I've looked for an answer, believe me, so I decided to come here for one. Thank you very much for reading this.

you probably didn't name it right

"particles.png"

or if it is your own it needs to be in png?

Named it right. Checked many a time. It's in png.
