Topic: [FREE] 100% Free hosting..

Im hosting all servers for free...


DDRace:

All DDRace Trunk maps I will host 100%... ( Not on its own server on DDRaceExtra server.. ( #1 and #1))

All other ddrace ( Stable or beta or DDRacemaX (Hook Through Tiles )) will be put on HardStyle Reloaded server...

Im not hosting any other ddrace servers. Except for the normal stable beta and DDRacemaX mod

vanilla ( ctf dm tdm )


Will host all maps on a new server ( New server each person )


Can do whatever u like too it

Host uses Linux Ubuntu 10.08


I can set up the binary and stuff, You can just send me the .cfg file and the map



Reason why im doing this: My servers are falling in numbers because i just got rid of acouple..

You could tell us a bit more about the service you are providing. Is the server hosted by you(meaning is it at your home)? Is the server going to online 24/7? You say it's ubuntu 10.08 which sounds very strange to me, as ubuntu versions are released every 1/2 year and are named after their release month. This means you get names like 9.04, 9.10, 10.04, 10.10(which is the current release). So which exactly do you use? Maybe you cold also give us some information about bandwidth and the capacities of the server, is it only a vserver, or is it a real root server and so on... Also the location of the serve can be very important: A server in Germany won't be much use for an US guy probably... I think you get now what I mean... Maybe if you give better information the interest in your service will be higher wink

Just to let you know, you can't have infinite bandwidth wink. What you probably mean is that you do not have any traffic limit. With bandwidth I mean the upload/download rate. Like if you have dsl 16000 at your home, your download rate is 16 mibt/s.

However, I am interested in a server for my team, the enSpired team. We do already have some clan servers, but unfortunately our hoster is suffering under frequent ddos attacks at the moment which results in our servers not being available sometimes.

More details about the specifications of the server could be talked about in irc(server: quaknet.org, channel: #bashcompany) or by pm.

Also: if you posses a vserver, are you also able to host voice servers like teamspeak/mumble/whatever? If yes, we would be interested in that, too.

In australian terms, Bandwidth means how much internet.


anyways, 100mb/s upp and down.. Iv tested that myself, I could host a teamspeak server, Im not sure how too though.

And im just going too go into a wild guess here, And say that "G@MER" or B0tox is ddosing you? Seeing as he ddosed ddracemax's server aswell..


And ill see what I can do

It's probably not those two ddosing us. The attacks are not against our teeworlds servers but against the hoster. He hosts many other projects, too, meaning their websites and other stuff.

Wait, what? I have never DDoSed any Teeworlds Server...
I randomly tested how good the host servers are in teeworlds. Kottizens one were the best. The ddracemax was very bad, one thread and it was lagging like shit. It was just short testing at 3pm. And it was a little UDP Packet flood no DDoS (remove a D and you're right ^^).
