Topic: Restrict Votemap

Well i just made a server but lot of people keep on spamming votemap (and its so annoying). I wanna know if there is anyway to allow just certain people or allow just a votemap for every xtime. I really think it is posible but i searched and searched and didn't find anything about that (or how to use console or rcon).


Also if any1 can tell me how to set a welcome message (i seen on some servers) but i'm not talking about the sv_motd, just some message on chat like 'Welcome to Best Server Ever :D'. I'm not sure if thats possible or it was just a kind of MOD.

When i was an admin of a server i got the same problem. Sadly there isnt anything you can do against it. The only way would be to remove the addvotes for maps, and implement a maprotation.

I had some months ago the idea to disable the option-votes if a round is running for a certain time, it was rejected.

The broadcast on joining is a feature implemented in some mods, i think e.g. in ddrace.
