Topic: Slow loadin of server list, in spite of good network

Hi at first!

Well, my server list loads VERY slow, there at first load just about 150 of 1000 servers, then after some long time there come at once a few more and so on, although my internet is pretty fast (16000 kbit)

So i wanted to ask now if that's normal, or if something in my settings may have to be changed or something.

Because the other 850 probably have no people playing in them. Maybe you have "Has people playing" checked?

When my internet gets too laggy, I sometimes have this kind of problem, some of the requests sent to the servers time out.

Open the console (F1) and type "br_max_requests 25" if you use the dev version or "b_max_requests 25" for 0.5.2, should be faster then.

Lol, this f**king works so great! I should have known this. thx minus

edit: well, if you have a smaller bandwidth this might increase the ping _shown_ in the server information.

Actually i wrote "br_max_requests 25" but someone seems to have edited it.
