Not really the problem, the users always keep an ID on the forum. But I don't understand what the author of the topic meant with a "friends feature on teeworlds.com".

Since this isn't a bug but a suggestion don't expect your request to quickly, or at all, go through. Teeworlds is low on serious and mature people to help out with development of the game, let alone the website. Be glad if it does become a reality.

I'd amuse he meant adding a tab or feature in your profile which shows all your friends in the forums.
