Topic: I need help.
I am making a skin called Combine and I am using MS Paint and GIMP to make it. But when I take away white, most of the colours get partially transparent. How do I solve the problem?

Uhhh anyone caring to help?
use photoshop
you can't expect an answer within 5min...please wait a while and have a look at the search function to find the "skin-make"-tutorial...maybe after that one of our artists could help you.
No I don't care about photoshop
Uhhh anyone caring to help?
hell, this is a forum not a chat room... be patient.
@ topic
If u choose "Make color transparent..." or whatever its called it makes every tone of the color transparent.
for example you have a grey color and make everything white transparent the grey color will drop its opacity to 50% because grey consists of black and white.
to prevent that you can choose the magic stick thingie and select the area you want and then make white to transparent. Anyways gimp is not a good program to make skins.
use photoshop
same here.
edit: And as i read your question again im asking myself if i solved the right problem
Please be more precise.
use inkscape!
or if you're very good in paint, maybe you can manage (:
is your avatar self-made ((in paint)?
Thanks. But I am still using GIMP cos I am used to it.
I am testing it. So if you find me I will be using my skin.
We cannot see your skin unless we have the skin ourselves.
Oh.
Oh.
what a post.
again, this is a forum not a chat room.
And dont make useless doubleposts, espeacially not when you write a double post within 5 min.
You make yourself unpopular in this forum.
