Topic: [SOLVED] Bug in selfmade tileset

Hello,

today I have made two own tilesets for my MDC map. They are used as a quads layer and there are one "forground" mountain and one "background" mountain. But for some reason at the top of the tilesets there are white lines. And also around the mountains are some lines which shouldn't be there.

Here is a screen of what I mean:

(Full image for a better view) (Areas which I mean are marked red)

Has this something to do with "tileset_boardfix" or "tileset_dilate" which I have to use (or not?).

I'd appriciate help (until 30th December because MDC is then over smile)

Thanks in advance.

//edit: If anyone wants the two tileset, I can send them via PN.

Man, nice mountains!

Did you use the fill tool to get the shadows in inkscape?

Re: [SOLVED] Bug in selfmade tileset

I think, I know the problem.
Quad layers are like teeskins.
If you not dilate a tee skin, he will have withe outlines ingame, same with quad layers, if you not dilate quad layers, they'll have outlines in all possible colors.

You need to dilate it.
If you haven't the application, klick here to download it.

PS; The background looks nice, I like it. smile

Re: [SOLVED] Bug in selfmade tileset

Thanks a lot, Zatline, you helped to fix the bugs.
Whit dilate the ugly lines around the mountains were gone, but the lines at the top and at the bottom were still there, they were caused, because the mountains reached from the top to to bottom of the page. You have to leave a free line without any grahics to avoid this bug.

Again, thanks a lot smile
