Topic: How to host a purchased server?

I have just purchased a server for 8usd. I have no idea on how to get it running, I want it to be a race server. If anyone could help me that would be great.  Oh and also if this helps I'm on Linux in-case I need to install a program to manage my server. Thanks

Race? - I always read they don't support mods here roll

This is for DDrace but many steps should be the same with Race: http://ddrace.info/forum/content.php?12 … x-by-Mo_2_ (you don't have to setup admin/mod/helper PW in your config for Race.

I'm not sure if there are pre-compiled binaries for Race (maybe search in the forum here) but I know you can get the source from github: https://github.com/SushiTee/teeworlds/tarball/master

If you like to compile yourself you would need bam and some build-tools. This is again for DDRace but is even mostly the same for Race or TW-trunk: http://ddrace.info/forum/content.php?15 … e-on-Linux

If you don't find binaries and still don't have a plan how to compile it yourself write me (if the thread get closed write me in ddrace-forum tongue). And it would be helpful to know what Linux-Distro you are using and which architecture (32bit or 64bit).
