Topic: connless packet too small 4

One Guy kicked me out of my own Server....i didn´t know how, only that in the consule stands "connless packet too small 4 "

then i Band him as i reentert my server, but i would like to protect my server form this....

i searchd at the internet and found out thats a 3-4 byte Crasher

how could i protect my server from this when i has a server by Teevision?

That means the guy who kicked you tried to crash your server, but because it was protected, it didn't crash. There is nothing to do. You can set "sv_vote_kick 0" in your configuration if you want to prevent people from kickvoting.

the problem is that those messages "connless packet too small" are sent to rcon users. this floods the client and it gets dropped with the message "too weak connection (out of buffer)"

Then he wasn't kicked, if that's the case.

You can send packets to a server without being connected to it. I guess that's the reason.

he wants to know how to prevent it, not how it happened...

update to trunk version, i think. if it's ddrace, get new ddrace version.
