Topic: [MAP]Driehoek's maps

Since I made some maps, I decided to post them on the forum.
I'd like to see your reactions, I hope you like them.

Nice for a start (:
The mapping looks cute, simple, and clean. The simplicity is probably the best part.

Here is a tip:
If you want good gameplay, etc. (ctf official maps), try to make all pathways AT LEAST 4 tiles tall/wide.

I like #3 the best, because ... it is the only one where it is clear what is collision and what is not.

The rock_main tileset... It's not good, sorry. It's just a recolored grass_main

Keep on going - You will get better soon.

Thanks, and you're right about the rock_main tileset. I made it to see what Gimp is like, so it's a bit easy and quickly made.
I made these maps a while ago, and lately I've only mapped my city, so didn't really made much maps wink

but ur ctf_night should be symmetrical so there are no favoured teams (i supose team blue would have an advantage on your map)

Just a little advice, do never put spawn points down on the ground. And no map should support DM and CTF.

to clear "don't put spawns on the ground"

this is because if someone spawns, goes afk, and blocks the spawn point, others canot spawn.

Ah, ofcourse. I will update the map at the end of this week, probably.
I also started to work on some old DDrace map of mine, called TeeFactory.

@alias: Do I have permission to use some tiles out of your ctf_cramped_attic map for this?
