Re: [SKIN] My first Skin!

To post a 'real' picture, past the link in your post above between [img]and[/img]. Should look like this then:

And this will make this:

At your skin: It's a bit easy. But at least your skins is not pixeled smile

Re: [SKIN] My first Skin!

Well, in my opinion not everyone need to open a new thread because of one "first skin" or anything else - a wave of trash cruising around the forum (you know what I mean?).

Btt: Next time you should really use inkscape!

Re: [SKIN] My first Skin!

Well to simple is bad and to detailed is bad, too. And in my opinion a 'only black' skin is a bit to simple. But as we know: Everyone has a different taste.

Re: [SKIN] My first Skin!

Well, i wanted to "tune" my skin a little bit and use Inkscape ;-) But than, this skin came out. I know that this is because of the white background, but how does it work without a white background? I used Paint.net for my first skin, there is automatically no background.

saved it as a -png? Were the dimensions right? 256*128?

Re: [SKIN] My first Skin!

Yeah, it is .png and it has the right size.

Re: [SKIN] My first Skin!

Don't "Save as" it gives it a white bg for some reason,
Instead just "export as bitmap" (ctrl+shift+E)

Re: [SKIN] My first Skin!

when saving your document, try pressing ctrl+shift+e to export. click page, and then export it.
saving it as a cairo png will give it a white background color, whereas exporting will give it the transparency it needs... because that's how teeworlds is.

because you saved it as a png in inkscape, it automatically gave it a white background, because cairo cannot support transparency.

offtopic: nice game.png, btw.
