Topic: [Tutorial] Even Simpler Tutorial!

I found Lappi's skin tutorial a bit confusing. I wanted to take advantage of my 30 day free trial.. so smile

Well, recently, in-game, i received a question on making skins. I don't really have experience in this field, so... i tried to make a quick, simple tutorial to teach him. I made a standard blue bear. To start, you must first download the template of the skin format first.

Creativity

Boredom

A need for skins

The video tutorial is 10 minutes long. It originally was 18 minutes, but i sped it up by 2x. So enjoy.. If any of you use this can you post the skins you've made on the comment? Thanks. Tell me if there are any confusing/hard parts.

no offense alias, but tutorials without voice suck! wiriting something into notepad (or inkscape) is simply stupid and wont teach anyone in a good way. your from usa?! so your english is perfect. why dont make a tutorial with voice tongue.

So Lappis tutorial is rly better, because he explained it with voice.

I dont judge about your contents.

Well I agree, I also agree with your second statement.

And in my opinion this tutorial is senseless, because of false informations and the very laboriously way to show how to create a skin.
Well, its okay that you want to help other ppl, but I still prefer the tutorial from Lappi!

very very nice, its cool that you explained that you have to export and dilate it (i didn't know that as i started, dont laugh)
if that tutorial would be with voice it would be very excellent, better than lappis.

(okay maybe the eyes should be normal : /    )
make more cool stuff like that!

meh i don't really like my voice, i think that's the reason many people do text tutorials wink

I see barely any reason why voiced tutorials are better than text tutorials. I guess it's preference. Some people only read to understand books, other talk and sound it out, and others do both. I could hardly care less. If it has a pause button then I can go over anything I found difficult to understand.

Give others the respect you wish to be respected with. In the mean time, enjoy the website!
