Hey,
Most of the time when I play with my friend and he is joining a game i cant find him, so he must give me the server ip's everytime.
I read another theat: http://www.teeworlds.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=6803
and i tried to disable my anti virus programm and my firewall but nothing happend and my router is ok too, i think. 
so wheres the problem, why i cant see the server names?

1st - thanks for using the search function before
2nd - the solution of the problem are the same that in the other thread: there's something wrong with your system and your PC isn't able to query every server about his informations. Can you try on a different PC in the same LAN or with another modem/router? I bet it's the router... again 
i looked it up and there are no ports closed from the router...
and I installed the system new, my problem was the main reason for that^^

i dont think its b/c of your router.
Sometimes me and my friend are having those problems too.
Nevertheless this friend, does he live Far away from you?
the guy im having problems with, is living in bavaria -> munic . and im living near cologne.
Im having these problems just with him. maybe its because of that..
Mh furthermore: sometimes it needs 1-2 minutes until hitting the refresh button and then the server name will appear..
My advice:
Keep pressing the refresh buttons 10times, then wait 1-2minutes. and be sure your filter settings are right!
no i dont think its that, because even when i play without him i cant get the names, but i must say not for all server.
but still I cant see the most servers with no matter how long I wait.
btw we both live in germany

I have a new router. But that's 2 weeks ago. Since 3 days i find only 18 servers or so. I only use WIndows Firewall, and he accept Teeworlds. I redownloaded Teeworlds, nothing. I deleted my settings.cfg - nothing. What we can do?
Edit: Works fine! i have opened the Ports 8303 in my Router.

as far as i know this is just for setting up a server, but hey! why shouldnt it work.. I also know that a lot of servers are using different ports than 8303. maybe the search function was not working for servers that used 8303, so now you opened it and it works

how can I open a new port from my router?
i just have the option no filter activated.
do I have to change something on my firewall?
Normaly you don't, but from one day to one day it has problems. Try it, that's the only possibility.
