Demos

Ok so here is how to create a demo. In a game, press f1 and type "record blah" (without quotes). It will start recording your every move, from your point of view. When you want to stop recording, press f1, and type "stoprecord".

When you want to watch your demo, go into the server browser, and click the demo tab at the top. You can select which demo you want to play, and click play. It will show what you were doing earlier in the game, when you started recording.

So demos are basically just replays of yourself. Video of game, i should say.

To get demos, run the "config_directory.bat" in your teeworlds folder. It will open a new folder. Inside the new folder, there is a demo folder. Inside the demo folder, you can find all your recordings. Then you can upload them and show them to us . But don't make senseless topics showing how you pwned someone in ddrace or how you killed someone in ctf.

ps. if you record on a map other than the official ones (dm1, dm2, dm4, dm6, dm7, dm9, ctf1, ctf2, ctf3, ctf4, ctf5) then you must also upload the map for others to watch it. Demos require the map you recorded on.
