Topic: Help with reserved server slot

Hello Teeworlds!!

I like this epic great game but i would be pleasured if someone can tell me how to create a password for a server slot because i am admin of my server and i really want to know how i can reserve a slot for me because there are always 16 players *-^ tongue

Ich mag dieses großartige Spiel aber i ich würde gerne wissen wie man sich ein password für einen slot auf meinen server. jeder kennt die message "dropped due server slot" aber ich würde mal gerne wissen wie man einen server slot dann machen kann weil ich admin bin und auf meinem server immer 16 spieler sind ^^

Well, the latest release version of TeeWorlds does not feature "Reserved Slots", - but many mods do.
For example the modpack by scosu.

You can compile your own executable using the reserved slot code, or use a modification that implements it.

I think there's a thread around in these forums where you can find a patch file for that.

It depends on which mod you run if its possible; for example for DDRace:
You will need to add "sv_reserved_slots x" to your config file. x will be the number of reserved slots you want. And  "sv_reserved_slots_pass XXX" where XXX is the password you choose.
Then in TW press F1 and type; password XXX; now your clients-side password is set to XXX and you can join your reserved slots when all free slots are taken.

(don't know if this is available for normal TW)

Teeworlds doesnt support reserved slots, but i think it would be a nice feature.
As ddrace copied many things from other mods, these commands should work in all other mods, supporting reserved slots, too.

But free reserved slots shouldn't be displayed as free normal slots. I many times tried to connect to ddrace server with a free slot and got error "Dropped due reserved slot"
