Topic: [HELP] No Servers in list

Hi ..
I'm helpless, so I had to register in the forum..
everywhere i've searched, they have problems with opening
an own server...
But That's NOT my prob...
I tried to play some older versions, to see which versions are better then
0.5.2. ... but now I'd like to play 0.5.2. again, and then ...
There are no servers anymore!
and yes, i tried to download teeworlds again and try it then again,
i started even my computer again.... nothing happens... no servers in the
internet list.. i even can't join to servers which my friends are on when they
tell me the IP's of those servers..
Help pls, i want to play teeworlds again with my friends sad

check your filters
check your firewall
check your virus-programme

No, it was a decent answer. He's saying to check your filters in the game, because some filters cause no servers to show up. Also, make sure Teeworlds isn't blocked in your anti-virus.

If nothing else works, re-download Teeworlds.

Klaus500, open up your Teeworlds folder and run "config_directory.bat". A new folder will open. Remove all of its content and start Teeworlds.

Also, sometimes the masterservers crash. When this happens, nobody can connect them, and you just can't do anything smile
Try to add some servers as favorite and check if the favorites tab is working (it's not requesting the masterservs).

hmm
I've done everything of that... It doesn't work...
anti-vir doens't block teeworlds,firewall does it not , too, the directory folder is empty, and
re-download didn't change anything. my filter is : only servers which are not full,no password,compatible version (I have still 0.5.2) and standard gametype ...
but there are still no servers in the list sad

Edit: reset filter changes nothing, too

Try to manually connect to a server using. In Teeworlds, press F1 and type the following line:
connect ziltoi.de
Hit enter. Does it connect, or does it just hang?

no it trys to connect but doesn't go on a server

EDIT: like  I see, this is the IP which i connected the last time..
right ?
so, in my favorites, there aren't any servers, i had at least
5 servers in my favorite list...  I know one name: Skaffa-Server or
sth. like that... I think that is a DDrace server...
i had some DM, ctf and TDM servers in favorite list, but don't know the names...
So a masterserver crashdown is not the problem, right ?
Because if the masterservers would be crashed down, there
would be my favorite servers (as i understood).. It must be another problem...

If you want to know this:
I use a SyncMaster T220 Monitor by Samsung, NVIDIA GeForce 7100,
Windows XP , I think SP 3... but i don't know if there are any updates
for drivers or sth. like that and don't rly know where to check all these
informations, I don't really know sth. about systems...
I usually use my computer only for teeworlds, Skype,icq, e-mail and
some MMO games online...

So, i have made my own server called BlackOps_server .... I added it to my favorite list.
I can see it in the list... so can somebody pls try to connect to it ?
so i could see if sth. is wrong with my inet connection ...
IP: 127.0.0.1:6889
pls say me if you can connect to it smile

127.0.0.1 is localhost... so its your own PC... if i enter this ip i connect to my own IP so ofc nobody can connect to your server with this ip wink

Hmmm.

Some "Patches" for my problem... xD
I added some servers to my favorite list via  Config_directory.bat-> settings.cfg
and then this:
I tried first to just klick on them, TW says then, "Connecting to *IP of Server*".
Nothing happened... it didn't join the server.
So, not really something new..
But if i Reset Filter , there aren't even in my favorite list some servers.
If i don't filter anything , so , no stand. gametype, no stand. map, no password,
server not full, not has ppl playing and no compatible version.
If those all filter options have -->NO<-- Cross in front of them,
the list shows my favorite servers (with a heart and a  " !_sign ").
does that help YOU to help me ? big_smile
