Forget about the teeworlds client for the iphone. It would be impossible to control the game as you need at least hook, fire, jump, move and weaponswitch as input. This is definitely more than the iphone can bear.
Did you ever try to do something that requires precision on the iphone? I can't even type a longer text on that keyboard. You would need to rework the complete gui of the editor, I suppose you won't find someone to do this. And I don't think you could create good maps on the iphone as you never have a view of bigger parts of the map.
Perhaps the iPad is more use to play teeworlds on it, I don't know, I haven't used one yet and I'm too lazy to get some information. Some final pseudo-wise crap: Better try to create games that fit a platform, don't try to make the platform fit the game
