Topic: [HELP] getting a server online

hey
i have a very annoying problem:
every time i try start my teeworlds server a message appears in the cmdbox:
ERROR: configure your firewall/nat and let through udp on port 8303.

well i already forwarded port 8303 in udp AND tcp and my firewall is turned off
but the message just won't disappear...

i really hope you can help me...

btw: on lan the server works perfectly...

If you forwarded your ports some days ago, your IP might have been changed. Check with ipconfig (Windows)/ifconfig(Linux) and make sure the forwarded port(s) is/are forwarded to the right IP address.

Some ISPs also tend to block all outgoing UDP-traffic. Ask your internet service provider whenever they do this or not.

thank you for the fast answers smile
but i haven't forwarded the ports with my WAN IP, so it should work...
by the way i have had to forward ports before (udp ports!) and it worked well,too.
hamachi isn't istalled on my computer...
maybe windows 7 causes the problem !?
