Topic: [SUGGESTION] TeeworldsMobile

My idea: TeeworldsMobile
That would be great: "teeworlds2go". "Take your teeworld with you, wherever you go".

What is it?
Teeworlds, sure.

Exactly?
Teeworlds for mobile touchscreen devices like iPod touch, iPhone, java phones... big market!

How does it work?
Teeworlds get simple (no chat, no votes, on ONLY-MOBILE-SERVERS a little slowliness (0.8x) and gets ported to touchscreen devices

How can I control the game?
It's simple: A 3D-Accelerometer (used in iPod touch) is required, you steer the Tee with it. With a click on the touch screen you shoot. And with the volume buttons (+ and -) or with a wipe on the screen you switch the weapon.

What is required)
a) Developers with Java experience
b) ONLY-MOBILE-SERVER (fairness, pc users are usually better)
c) End users need mobile internet, but this is common, today (WiFi and 3G)

I'll also post this information in the german forums and on our clan forum: http://25h.cpage.de (german)

Teeworlds is meant to played on a computer, not on a Nintendo DS, mobile, Playstation or such platforms.

Re: [SUGGESTION] TeeworldsMobile

We'll, it's not in the developers goal to make such type of porting but you can do it yourself.
Since you posted the idea, I'm trying to port Teeworlds to the LiMo (Linux Mobile) platform (Samsung H1) as a summer exercise. Don't know if I'm going to change the netcode to adapt it and fit your idea, maybe that's a step more.

This is *exactly* what I thought about, because I don't have programmer skillz and I only wanted to wake up those people who have. They may take my idea and programm their ports.
Thank you.
