Topic: [MOD] N-LVL

Yet another LVL X copy???

After the first look on N-LVL you might think that N-LVL is really just a copy of LVL-X. You can register, skill your account, str, sta, int and dex, get more exp when on a spree, get credits and buy things in the shop…
ehhhh wait – credits and a shop???

And here we are with the first major difference between the two mods – You can buy ultra cool weapon effects like piercing weapons, mines, clusterbombs and heal teammate effects for your weapons.

So I can specialize on one weapons and buy effects for it?
NO! You don´s need to make a decision for only one weapon! You can buy effects for all the weapons you like. Or combine them like buying Mines and clusterbombs for grenade, Autohammer and explosion or build a Laser that goes through other tees and makes explosions.

Still not cool enough?
Wait for the things that will come like events and special mods like the S* mods.

This mod (an all other not official mods) are nothing for me, but this doesn't matter here.
Anyway, the presentation of your Mod is real nice and I like the overview of the weapon 'powerups'.

Hi

@mandaryn: I think that's a nice idea, but it have to be fair tongue

@Dune: I don't think that N-LVL is like the 'CRAZY' mod.
N-LVL has an Account system with database and if you go on a N-LVL server you'll feel the difference wink

Its mostly like lvl|x(I like lvl|x) but in a new nice style. The shop was a good idea. So it´s possible to skill multiple weapons and they are not associated with str, sta, dex or int.
I look forward to play the final version of n-lvl.

Sure this can be a great mod, if you manage to get it hosted on good servers with an acceptable uptime. Otherwise it'll just die out.

I still want people to use a mixture of charging and homing to be brought into a mod... there used to be a homing mod, but it isn't compatible anymore. :''(

All the powerups (except of one) are leeched from Lvl|x... hmm

Imho it isn't a good idea to enable ALL powerups for people playing a lot.
In the end it might really pop out as one other CRAZY-mod.

Anyways, the idea is nice, however it is leeched from lvlx and buy, still great job with the mod and good luck. tongue

of course you can say it is »leeched« from another mod like lvlx or buy but don´t forget that those level up mods (with sta, str, int etc) are »leeched« from other games themselfes ;-)

But that doesn´t matter – it´s no question that your mod was the first of its kind in teeworlds – but there is no reason why it should be the only one big_smile

To own all weapons you must have an unreal high level (ca. lvl 660 tongue ).

Stay tuned for the S* mods to see the full power of N-LVL big_smile

And lvling itself is leeched from the very first RPG in the world.
You know that having stat points isn't something unique as the powerups i mentioned... wink
Also i did never say there shouldn't be other lvl mods, I gave constructive critique of what I think about the mod... and I want to be seen as a person and not as a jealous author of another mod... :X

It´s the whole work worth!
Tom, if you think that there are to much lvl mods,
than get to known what the peopil are playing..
If more play the N-LVL mod in future, youre mod will no i´m sure... is goint to be beaten ^^

Did you even read the thread?
Why the hell am I to be insulted about things I never said?

All I said is that pretty much all features of this mod and the ideas were taken from Lvlx...
(And the new spree stuff + banner just confirms my statement.)
Read through my posts carefully one more time... :X

PS:
I do not really care about teeworlds at all currently... so why should I be jealous?
I am giving contructive critique... Just that I wrote a similar mod doesn't make me jealous in any way.

PPS:
It appears that more people play Lvlx than n-lvl currently. ô.o

This mod is running us server in old times and some time the accounts reset and again and again the and pepole boring play again and again so they goin to Kog server[have level too].....If you want players play again that mod you must do somethin hmm
