Topic: [PROBLEM] poinless accounts

Hello...
I have noticed (if you haven't yet) that there is a high growing number of accounts being opened each day. About 5-10 if I had to guess. But, the problem is I've seen many counts being created so far, for seemingly the only purpose was to advertise other websites that had nothing to do with teeworlds in their signature. One was for "latest coupons for host gator hosting", another was "how to fix premature ejaculation"... don't ask... and my favorite one was Japanese sex (the link isn't there for obvious reasons)... I'm not even joking. I am seriously wondering out of the 5-10 websites being created a day, how many are actually going to be used or if it was made for advertisement.
Unfortunately, the pointless list goes on further.

The list is more than that, but I'm getting tired of copying and pasting, and like what Chi11y said... Also to no surprise, not one has ever posted on the forums and all have been made in this month alone. Suggestions? hmm

We moderators deal with removing posts and banning such accounts on a daily basis so there is nothing to worry about. There's no use showcasing the links: that's only helping the spammers get google hits.

That would only help temporarily. Once the spammers figured it out, they just include the links in the post itself, or would post 10 times really fast and thus only create more spam posts.

PS: Do you still have the links for the Japanese sex sites?
and for the premature ejaculation
please send them to me, i need them immediately big_smile

If you encounter any of these spam accounts that haven't been banned yet, you can always report them through the forum or by PM. I'll make sure they will be taken care of.
