Re: [REQUEST] Any good programmers who can make bots?

buffer: yes im only calculation all 0.5 sec. Its more than enough. And only in view not over the whoile map in most cases. And its only needed if there really is a wall between the start and end pos wink

I even wrote a binary heap for faster calculation but im pretty sure its still not the fastest way... Bigger nodes would be good xD

Re: [REQUEST] Any good programmers who can make bots?

I was coding some bots while ago, but I didn't have the patience and skill to figure out how to get data from game (I rewritten SDL event stack to give bots commands). My approach is but a bit different, I wanted to learn them about the movement on their own, but maybe it is too complex to code for me big_smile.

Note: Solving the differential equation of the ballistic of the grenade is possible by switching frames, but it's very hard (you have to solve an imaginary part and a real part, kinda hot). Even ZBots are using approximations.

May I ask what are you talking about? Solving differential equation for grenade? And complex numbers? I thought they come into play when you have periodic stuff. And there is no need for any DEs AFAIK, just equations and maybe some differentiation to find the optimal angle.
