[ Closed ] [QUESTION] How do u get that dark stuff that paralizes u in races?

1) Official Teeworlds Forum ONLY supporst standart client and not modded ones
2) This a problem with the DDrace Client
3) Maybe get the DDrace client?
4) Ask the creator for further questions

@Drakk13 if you would that "dark freezing" stuff you don't need a DDRace-Client (standard Teeworlds is ok for that) but a DDRace-Server (which know how to handle other stuff like the standard-teeworlds objects) and additional some entity.png (this is just for you the mapper - it's not necessary afterwards and must not be included to the map). The "dark" stuff itself would not freeze anything it's just a visible picture (even in DDRace) to let people know where they can run.
But if you do not add more stuff (entity layer) which let the (DDRace)server know which position is hookable, non-hookable, freezing, ... you would just drop endless down. -  The color does not matter. You can even make a "red" zone freeze you or a "grass" tile make kill you. But it's known (so a defacto standard) that dark-zones would freeze you in DDRace. So if some make a dark area most time he would make a freeze-zone in the game-layer below. Currently there are two versions of DDRace (the beta have more objects but is currently buggy) and the old stable one (which has just one entity layer). So don't be confused about 3 layers at the link above (you don't need all of them - this depends on the version you choose).
