Topic: [REQUEST] Wooden Signs

I want to request a tileset of nice and teeish wooden signs.
Imo right now there isn't any possibility to put some text into a map without making it look . . . strange. So I want sb to make a tileset of wooden signs and fitting symbols. Here's what I imagine, quite a lot and specific smile

The signs: It should be possible to place the signs high above the ground, attach them to ground, ceiling and walls and even to other signs.

The symbols on the signs: An alphabet, some like points, exclamation marks, arrows, the entities of the game-layer.

How to use: On one layer, the mapper puts the signs, on another layer, more in the foreground, the symbols. Why seperated signs and letters? Because this should decrease the filesize. But I'm not sure about that yet.

I hope you like the idea.

Can you do a hand drawn sketch? So we can unterstand better the design you mean..

I dont understand completely what you want, you want me to create a tileset with an alphabet (like in the nrace tiles) but the letters should look wooden?! i dont understand it :S

I think it's all that he wants.. Nut not only alphabet.. Symbols, too.
He wants letter that seems wood, but bigger than 32x32
