Topic: [SOLVED] problem with server

cheers

i need some advice
i want to start few tw servers (win 32 bit) on a v-server (windows web server 2008 R2 - 64bit). in the beginning, it all went well, no problems with firewall etc, config is working fine. but then, after maybe 5-10 minutes, the tw server crashes. it gives a error report, but no definition. it says: tw server not working properly, click to shut it down.

i´m sure that it has to do something with that 64bit thing... how can i keep the servers online without having to restart them every 10 minutes?

thx in advance

Re: [SOLVED] problem with server

Are you using the vanilla server? Can you post here your config?
The 64bit thing can't be the problem. I used it in the past.

Are always 10 minutes or it is variable? maybe it's related to this known bug

Re: [SOLVED] problem with server

if u are hosting a modded server... try hosting a mod without bugs xD

uptee - a simple web interface for hosting and maintaining teeworlds servers
teerace - a website gathering results of trusted Race-mod servers providing global ranking and statistics

Re: [SOLVED] problem with server

@sushi: no, we are only playing vanilla ctf

the config works on my pc when i start the same server without any problems (except the high ping due to the distance from germany), but on the 64-bit pc, it crashes. it is variable.
before i forget, when it starts, at the end it says that there are no firewall /nat problems detected

config (pw's removed):

Re: [SOLVED] problem with server

I think it's related to the bug as Lanta said. Seems unlikely that a lot of vanilla servers crashes just today.

Re: [SOLVED] problem with server

interesting thing just happened... the servers were working all night long and they are still working properly. seems that it's not a problem with the 64-bit thing.
could it be a hack instead?

Re: [SOLVED] problem with server

i´m not familiar with that file you´ve posted there. shall i rename it into "filename".exe and go on like the last server via shortcut?

Re: [SOLVED] problem with server

Download http://felicia.kottnet.net/modification … -win32.exe and save it in your Teeworlds-folder. Rename it to something better, like "server.exe". Then start it, like you did before but with teeworlds_srv.exe.
