Topic: Is it possible for someone to get the skins you got locally ?

Hi,

Is it possible for someone to get the skins you got locally ? By playing online.
i was testing a skin i'm working on, and i was surprised to see that anothers player used it too.

the skin was not published anywhere, so is it a bug maybe ?

yes it's a bug ... has to do with the default.png

when someone does use the default.png skin, it switches on the screen to your current skin ? oO

no, but e.g. if you do not have the default skin, because you use a mod all, other skins are shown as one skin. May be it's using then a skin name which is similar to default.png. Sometimes I see some players online, who play with "my" test.png.

the skin thing is case sensitive you probably saved your skin as default.png or some other common name

my name is NOT clasic_traveller_die its CLASIC_TRAVELLER_DIEHARD classic traveller is a si-fi rpg from the same era as dungens and dragons lookit up on wikipedia smile

this is wierd, because i do have this default.png file, and worse i retryed 5 min ago, and 4 users had my unpublished skin wink haha now i'm sure it's a bug, or else it spreads like plague ^____^

not really, it was a custom name, with a lot of number at the end of the filename (i did a lot of tests ^^)
