Topic: [QUESTION] Map - sizelimit ?

Hi,

i want to ask, if anyone know :

Has the Masterserver a sizelimit for the Maps.

I have the problem, that my Server doesen't show in the server list. My map has a file size from 2 MB oO

1. Are you sure, your server successfully registered with masterserver? you should get a message like "no firewall/nat problems" or so.

2. Did you test, if other people can see your server? If no, local servers only appear in the "lan" tab, not in the "internet" tab.

All in all, as far as I know, there is no such thing as a limit for map sizes(Though it is better to keep the maps small in my opinion...).

If you're using a computer that is in the same network as your server it won't be shown up in the master servers for you. Everyone else will see it though. Instead, your server will be shown under the LAN-tab. So, go call your friend if he can see the server. =]
