Topic: [QUESTION] How to use custom gameskins on mac os X

I am wondering how to use different gameskins on mac os x leopard. I know how to get to the folder that contains the default skins, but I don't know how to change them. When I try to add something to the folder, a message tells me that the disk is write-protected. I'm a noob with this kind of stuff so please don't yell at me.

I'm not 100% sure if this is what you are asking, but it seems like you want to know how to put in a newgame and it becomes your new gameskin default.
Anytime you want to change a default gameskin, (or particleskin, for that matter) change the name of your current gameskin (which should be called "game") and change it to "game2". It doesn't matter than name, so long it isn't "game" anymore. Or if you don't want the current default gameskin at all, just delete it and that works too. Lastly, take your new gameskin you want as you default and rename it "game", then in game you'll see that skin being used.
